Ratios!

A very simple little topic, but very important to master!

The ratios are just what you are looking at when looking at the coefficient (the big number in front) in the equation

Example:

4C₂H₅Cl₂+13O₂=>8CO₂+10H₂O+4Cl₂

What is the ratio between O2 and H20?

-       Just look for the coefficients!

-       4C₂H₅Cl₂+13O₂=>8CO₂+10H₂O+4Cl₂

-       the ratio is 13:10!
